Description of the Company\/Institution\/Organization.<\/strong>
\nZEIT is a cultural association based in Milan and Cagliari that was founded in 2008 with the aim of promoting choreography, the dissemination of art, performance and film culture through festival production, performances and meetings with a special interest in contemporary artistic languages.<\/p>\n

The artistic direction is by Maria Paola Zedda, a curator and expert in dance, performance and their relationship with the visual arts. In 2015 he was the artistic director of Cagliari Capitale Italiana della Cultura for the Municipality of Cagliari and the Civic Museums and curated several projects collaborating with artists such as Alfredo Jaar, Maria Papadimitriou, Marie Caroline Hominal, Enzo Cosimi, Valentina Medda and institutions such as Triennale di Milano, MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century Arts, Civic Museums of Cagliari.<\/p>\n

From 2019 to the present, he organizes and curates Le Alleanze dei Corpi in Milan, a project he carries out in the marginal areas of the city, on the theme of the relationship between the body and public space, rethinking the theme of the border and the perception of living through dance and performance practices. The project over the years has received support from the Milan Community Foundation, the City of Milan and the Lombardy Region.<\/p>\n

Since 2022, ZEIT has been an entity funded by the Ministry of Culture – FNSV under Dance – Transversal Actions, Cohesion and Social Inclusion.<\/p>\n

In 2022 he won the Italian Council XI edition of the Ministry of Culture-Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity with the project The Last Lamentation by Valentina Medda, linking up with international partners such as Flux in New York, 404 in Ghent, and in Italy Museo MAMBO in Bologna, Museo MAN in Nuoro, RAMDOM in Puglia, BIG Bari International Gender Festival in Bari.<\/p>\n

In 2023, ZEIT was the winner of the TOCC – Ecological TransitionCreative and Cultural<\/span> Bodies call, with the project Dalle Acque – ecologies of listening<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Job Position Description
\nThe position sought will be responsible for managing and organizing activities in close collaboration with the artistic direction and other team members.
\nDuties include:<\/p>\n

– General supervision of artistic activities;
\n– Drafting and coordinating funding applications;
\n– Resource optimization and administrative strategies;
\n– Management of basic administration activities;
\n– Coordination of production, hospitality and residency activities;
\n– Interaction with external consultants (labor consultant, accountant, insurer, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/div>

Description of profile sought<\/strong>
\nThe figure will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and fluidity of arts activities, combining administrative and organizational skills with a deep understanding of the contemporary arts sector.<\/p>\n

Required:
\n– Demonstrated experience and reliability in similar positions;
\n– Cultural education and knowledge of the contemporary art context;
\n– enterprising spirit, self-motivation and specific passion for the performing arts;
\n– Good proficiency in written and spoken English;
\n– Developed skills in public relations and organizing and coordinating activities;
\n– Proven ability in budget management;
\n– Experience in basic accounting management;
\n– Thorough knowledge of relevant computer software (office package);
\n– Preferably possess a B driver’s license.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Description of experience required<\/strong>
\nPrior experience, including non-continuous experience, of at least 3 years in live performance organization and autonomy in carrying out assigned tasks and objectives.<\/p>\n
