Artistic Direction
Maria Paola Zedda (1975). Performer and curator, attentive to the intersection of languages between contemporary art, performance and film. After studies in Architecture, he majored in Sociology at La Sapienza University, with a thesis in Sociology of Art on contemporary performing arts in Japan, awarded with an International Fellowship in Paris. He later earned a master’s degree in film and film writing. At the same time he extended his training to contemporary performing arts, earning numerous awards in Italy and abroad, including in 2009 the Special Mention of the Equilibrio Prize- Auditorium Parco della Musica. Selected in the Anticorpi Xplo network, she presents her works in important institutions dedicated to theater and contemporary art including Museo Madre in Naples, Museo Mambo in Bologna, Szene Salzburg, Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.
From 2004 to 2015 he worked permanently in the Enzo Cosimi Dance Company, as manager and company head collaborating with the most important national and international theaters and production centers (Triennale di Milano, Les Halles de Schaerbeek, Belgium, IIC Tokyo, Venice Biennale).
Since 2011 she has worked as organizer and curator numerous events in the world of culture and entertainment, from research theater to contemporary art to cinema, dialoguing with the most important institutions operating in this field (Scuderie del Quirinale, Palazzo delle Esposizioni, MAXXI, Mudec – Museo delle Culture, Museo del Novecento, Milan, Triennale di Milano). Curated in 2011 the artistic direction of several festivals including Istantanee – visions of dance and performance (Rome), in 2012 Across the vision Film Festival (Historical and Environmental Geominerary Park of Sardinia), from 2013 to present Across Asia Film Festival. In 2014 he produced, in collaboration with MAXXI – National Museum of XXI Century Arts in Rome, Across Asia Film Festival – MAXXI edition.
In 2015, she was artistic coordinator of Cagliari Italian Capital of Culture for the City of Cagliari.
In 2017, she was among the winners as curator of the I want you for the Museum Army – Gramsci call for proposals issued by the Cagliari Civic Museums with the Camposud project. In 2018 he curated the exhibition Mappe Sguardi sui confini, at Palazzo Litta and Triennale di Milano as part of the Palazzo Litta Cultura a Milano project. She is curator of The Migrant School of Bodies project, winner of the MigrArti call, MIBAC, and for the Fondazione di Sardegna of Leonardo Delogu’s Désert project, as part of AR/S Shared Art in Sardinia. Since 2018 and until 2021, he has been artistic director of the V_AIR Vimercate Art in Residence residency project for the MUST Museum in Vimercate.
Curated the artistic direction of Abitare Connessioni, the winning project of the Borghinfestival call of the General Directorate of Contemporary Art of the Italian Ministry of Culture. She is curator of Le Alleanze dei Corpi – Communities in Movement, in collaboration with DIDstudio, Base, MUDEC – Museo delle Culture di Milano.
He writes for numerous trade magazines such as Artribune, of which he is editor-in-chief of the Performing Arts Section, along with Chiara Pirri, for Hystrio, Antinomie, and Alfabeta2.

Giulia Palomba is a curator, researcher and lecturer based in Turin, Italy.
Between 2018 and 2020, he was Associate Curator of Vessel for the Institute for the Imagination of the Mediterranean. In 2017 she was a research fellow at The School of Redistribution, curated by Antonia Alampi and iliana Fokianaki (Future Climate) at State of Concept, Athens. In 2020 he received an MA in Commissioning and Curating Public Art from HDK Valand Academy (Gothenburg). Since July 2021 he has been part of the Facilitation Group of FundAction, a participatory fund making grants for activism and social transformation in Europe.
