Dalle Acque – Ecologie dell’ascolto is Zeit’s project of artistic residencies, workshops and performances with low environmental impact, marked by the study of the landscape and the specific context in which it is located, that of the Southwestern area of Sardinia, in the Monti Mannu – Villacidro nature reserve, between Medio Campidano and Sulcis Iglesiente, a peculiar site in Sardinia, characterized by the permanence of resources and watersheds that reach the sea from the inland areas.

The project aims to develop, in collaboration with artists, sound designers, performers, and light designers, formats and devices for the creation of environmentally and ecosystem-sensitive performances through the collaborative and participatory design of self-built battery-operated amplifiers, solar panel lights, and acoustic and sensory experiments for specific conditions (Aural tools), with the idea of “challenging” artists to engage with a new gaze and other forms of performance that are sensitive to the environment in which they converge.

From the Waters. Ecologies of Listening is a PNRR project – funded by the European Union – under Next Generation EU, produced by Zeit in collaboration with DidStudio and Aiep.
